With 23 years as a registered respiratory therapist and 13 years as an educator, I’ve been where you are.

How I Became a Global Resource for RT Students
Respiratory Coach began as a simple effort by Joe Lewis to help his students succeed. In 2018, he started posting videos on YouTube, aiming to clarify challenging topics for his class. What Joe didn’t anticipate was the global need for the same information. Within a year, the channel reached over 1,000 subscribers, and today it’s on track to hit 100,000. As the community grew, so did their requests for more focused resources. Joe responded by launching the TMC Boot Camp and CSE Boot Camp, along with mini-courses on complex subjects like pharmacology, anatomy, formulas, and arterial blood gases; all designed to help RT students successfully navigate the common struggles of RT school. The incredible support from the Respiratory Coach community motivates Joe to continue creating valuable content and connecting with students at every opportunity.

Joe created the Respiratory Coach YouTube channel to share knowledge, tips, and resources with students worldwide, making complex topics easy to understand.

The Respiratory Coach community grew exponentially, connecting respiratory therapy students and professionals from across the globe, providing support and guidance.
